Experience

Mauricio co-leads the tax team at Lathrop Mujica Herrera & Diez Abogados. He has more than 20 years of experience advising both domestic and multinational companies on transactions such as mergers, divisions, reorganizations, and overall tax optimization of corporate groups; analysis of derivative instruments, IPOs, bond issuances, and international trade; as well as the development and financing of productive projects, among other matters. His practice has focused on a wide range of industries including finance, mining, energy, and commerce, providing legal and tax advice relevant to the growth and success of their businesses.

 

In addition, he serves as a professor in the Diploma of Advanced Taxation at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and teaches the Capital Markets course at Universidad de los Andes.
